Mordançage:

This process substantially distresses a silver print. Darkroom prints are subjected to chemical solutions that cause the gelatin image to bleach and separate from its backing. When it “looks ready” it is redeveloped and an attempt is made to arrange the fragments in a manner that is pleasing to the eye.

Chemigrams:

These are camera-less images utilizing photographic paper and chemistry. Resists…tape, floor wax, syrup, and the like…are applied to the paper then processed to create an image.
